New Permeable Pavers for your Patio!
Introducing Firth's newest paver - the stylish 300 x 300mm size Permeable Patio Paver - which has just been added to Firth’s EcoPave® range. Available in four colours this contemporary paver has the added benefit of assisting with the management of storm water runoff, by allowing water to filter through to the underlying drainage system – meaning no more puddles on your patio!
Initially only available in the North Island, this new environmentally friendly paver has enlarged nibs on all four sides which creates wider than usual gaps around each paver, allowing water to filter through to the permeable base course system below.
“Our very functional permeable paver FlowPave has been very successful in commercial settings such as driveways and carparks,” says Stuart Girvan, Technical & Specification Advisor (Masonry) for Firth. “But our range lacked something that was more aesthetically pleasing and attractive for outdoor areas that could also manage stormwater runoff. So we developed the Permeable Patio Paver.”

The slim, sleek (lighter) Strata Designer Brick We’re excited to introduce the Strata Brick, our new slim-line concrete brick, to our Designer Brick range. The long lean lines, in four smart modern colours, fit beautifully into today’s design aesthetic. “We had requests from architects and designers for us to produce a brick with a slimmer profile,” explains Bernice Cumming, Architectural Consultant for Firth. “While working on the development of this new design we also took into account requests from Group Home Builders and layers who said they would like our units to be much lighter. So our new brick has holes through them, reducing the weight of each unit and making it much easier for the layers to handle.” Dimensions: 290mm(L) x 70mm (D) and 75m (H) |
