Building pride and giving back to the community are an integral part of the Firth and Fletcher Building values. We want people to know there is no place for prejudice in the workplace and we value diversity. This is a place where people can be their authentic self.
For three years now Fletcher Building has been the principal sponsor of the Auckland Pride Festival and was the first construction and building materials company to achieve Rainbow Tick certification.
This year Firth is the primary sponsor and, to mark the occasion, the Pride parade float will feature a rainbow coloured Firth concrete truck. Employees from all over Auckland and as far away as Wellington and Christchurch will walk in the Pride parade on Saturday 17 February.
During the month of February Firth will loudly and proudly celebrate the diversity of its people with the rainbow Firth truck operating its usual rounds across Auckland.
